walk stella

With the combination of nearly two feet of snow and our whole neighborhood not being plowed, our car took a much needed day off. Good day to go for a walk? You bet!

walk park

You would think that the park would be empty, but the swings were packed and the slide was being slid on. I love that a little snow doesn't stop the kids from having some outdoor fun.

feeding behavior

measuring the snow

The hubs walked around with a ruler checking to see how high the snow was. At the end of the walk it averaged 14-16 inches. A few hours later I measured another 5 inches on the steps where I had shoveled. Whew! 20 inches!!
