Photowalk 48 - This way, we're closed
This was at the entrance to a bank that had closed - the parking stopper thingy was blocking the entrance so cars wouldn't actually drive in where the arrow was telling them to.
I'm very unsure of this photo. The composition: would you feel better if you could see the entire parking stop thingy? If it was straight instead of at an angle? (which is really an incorrect statement, because regardless of the fact that it's at an angle, it's still a straight line, but I can never figure out a better way to word that - if you know that, chime in on that one, too)
And editing? Is it too much? Is the yellow too yellow?

Yes, it's blurry. I usually don't upload photos that I think are too bad to be saved - and I do think this photo was too bad to be saved - but I still like what it's a photo of.

Photowalk 48 - One Way
I still get very frustrated doing pretty much any photography outside of nature. I love nature. But I love my city, too, and I love most people's urban photography. My problem is that I can look at something in a city and think "that would make a good photo somehow." But I can't figure out how yet.
I look back on how much my nature photography has improved over the past year with all these photowalks, though, and I know it's not because someone taught me, or I read something in a book, it's because I got out there and did it. And so, I've 100% decided I'm doing another 52 photowalks next year, and I'm going to try and focus on things other than nature. Though I won't be able to stay away from my beloved Metro Parks too much, I'm sure :)
