Photowalk 45 - My favorite

My favorite photo from the entire walk.

My 45th photowalk took me back to Cascade Valley Metro Park, which I've been to a few walks before, but on a trail I hadn't yet ventured on. The Oxbow trail goes next to the river, to an opening with picnic tables, then into the woods and up a hill where you get an amazing view of what you just walked through.

Photowalk 45 - Leaf blocking the sun

I took this photo I don't know how many times and it never came out exactly how I wanted. This is the closest I got, and of course it was the first shot.

Photowalk 45 - Hallmark Greeting

When John looked at this photo he thought it belonged on a Hallmark card with some cheesey saying in the upper part. I agree :)

Photowalk 45 - Indian Signal Tree

On my way back home I stopped at Indian Signal Tree (same park, different trailhead).

Photowalk 45 - Tree Shadows

This is actually taken in the picnic area. It's funny, there were two couples there, and the river is flowing behind me, and both couples were sitting on benches looking out over the water. I honestly think they were missing the best view.

Photowalk 45 - Dark berries

The sun was just beautiful was I was there, giving me some great lighting, imo, even when shooting into it.

Photowalk 45 - Red over Water

I guess these are some kind of berries. But I'm also guessing you won't see me eating them.

Photowalk 45 - Mosskeh

I don't think there's any good subject in this photo, and so it's not necessary a good photograph, but I just love the colors in the bokeh, so I posted it anyway.
