Earth Hour, Bandos Maldives
Earth Hour 2009 aims to reach more than one billion people in 1000 cities around the world, inviting communities, business and governments to switch off lights for one hour at 8:30pm on Saturday March 28 and sending a powerful global message that we care enough about climate change to take action.

Earth Hour 2009 28th Mar 2009
Malaysia celebrated Earth Hour on 28th March 2009, 2030-2130 hrs.
Congratulations and thank you to those who did their bit on Earth Hour. My children were very excited about it and have been toying with the idea of "no lights" all day. They even had a little countdown approaching 2030 hrs.
I took the opportunity experimenting with some candlelight.And by the time it was over, all of them were fast asleep. Bliss.
May Earth live longer....
